AI's Report on Startup Saratoga
Dan Forbush
As new Startup Tech Valley sponsors, our assignment is to demonstrate how easy Artificial Intelligence makes reporting on a great pitch event like Startup Saratoga. It was great to see this event revived in the remarkable maker space that Beth Muller and the many who rallied behind her have established in the Saratoga Innovation Center.
We're using Otter, NotebookLM, and ChatGPT in this demonstration. These tools are at the core of what we call the Smartacus Neural Net.
I simply transcribed all of last night's pitches and welcoming remarks into a notebook in NotebookLM. The entire contents of the evening are there.
Here's the prompt I gave Gemini:
Write the first in a series of features Smartacus will publish to celebrate the continuation of Startup Tech Valley and Startup Saratoga in the great tradition of George Low and Mike Wachholder. Start with an in-depth report on last night, including the introductory remarks made by Beth Muller, Eric Ledet, and the event's sponsors. For each of the companies that made pitches, succinctly describe in a single paragraph its main mission and business goal. Generate a story of at least 2,000 words.
