Your thoughts on Implementation Guides

Your TA & Training Coordinators are charged with providing the best possible training materials for you. So we are reaching out to as many local SHIP staff as possible for your input as we work to reformulate the SHIP Implementation Guides. (Find them here if you’d like to refresh your memory: http://www.health.state.mn.us/healthreform/ship/Implementation.html.)

Feel free to answer one or all.

1.         If we were to roll out a new way to learn about SHIP work, what would your preferred format be? (How do you learn best? Do you learn best by interacting on-line, printing out information and reading it, listening, seeing graphics, watching videos?.... How else?)
2.         Looking back to when you started and your own orientation to SHIP, what are your suggestions for how to best train new people on SHIP work?
3.         Do you know where to go or who to ask to find the information you need to do your SHIP work? What’s missing?
4.         If you use the implementation guides, what is it that brings you back to the guide, what information are you looking for?
5.         What aren’t you finding in the guide when you go there?
6.         Where else do you go to find the information you need?
7.         Lastly, we’d like your feedback on the Navigating SHIP tools for each strategy, which you can find on Basecamp, here is an example - Active Living  https://public.3.basecamp.com/p/nvyqUXQid3SrvWCueFCKg2Yo
