1. Updates from Chairs Meetings
  • 1 a. NERS Task Force- LSP looking to form a task force to discuss how we could (possibly) coordinate voting across campuses.
  • 1b. Creation of a peer-2-peer support system.  The idea is good but the DWG has concerns about finding people to volunteer.  Many people are already tapped out and some people may feel like they don't have the expertise to continue. If the proposal moves forward, we think it should be tempered within reason.
  • 1c. Future of FAQs The FAQs will now be managed by the SLSS.  This will ensure guides are updated and relevant.

2. CDI Task Force Update and discussion about how this change may impact campuses
There is a meeting with ExL next week so more details to follow.  Some other beta testers are further ahead in the testing of the CDI but there hasn't been a lot of feedback yet, especially from public staff.  There will be scripts created to help with the testing.

3. Update from meeting with ExL regarding content in the CZ
Several members of the DWG sat in on a call with ExL regarding content in the CZ.  Some of the topics discussed at the meeting included the quality of CZ records and how to escalate issues/concerns with CZ records.  It was mentioned at the meeting that anyone can contribute to CZ records.  This was news to some of the people listening to the call.

4. Update from meeting with ExL regarding Primo VE development

5. Primo November Update Discussion
Lots of updates in the November release.  A few campuses have turned on journal categories but there is a concern that this is not working as expected.   Nancy has been testing the open access paywall configuration.  Michelle will be presenting on this next week.
We realized that some of the planned fixes aren't released in the regular monthly update but rather in the update the week after.  This was news to us.

6.  Ongoing issues
  • 5a. ScienceDirect woes
