Although we lost 15 CPBDs over the last month, March 1 always sees a large number of suspensions due to the number of CPBDs that renew on Jan 1.
That number is almost 50% LESS than the same time last year.
The focus on recertification seems to be working. Over the past year, I attribute that to the following (in order of greater influence):
1. The activities of the Recertification Committee
2. The institution of a $45 reinstatement fee
3. The CE Watch Parties
The Recertification Committee continues to meet monthly to review suspended CPBDs. Several of our committee volunteers are doing an excellent job reaching out, and Rusty continues to do an outstanding job keeping everything current and organized.
The Outreach Committee has produced a testimonial video on the value of becoming certified. The committee will soon be reaching out to CPBD members to request volunteers to create similar videos that can be used in our certification marketing efforts. The initial video was well done and provides a strong example for additional videos.
That concludes my report for this month.
