Happy 2024, everyone! It's been a year since the Marketing team's first cycle together. We've tried many new things, learned a lot, and our team has undergone numerous changes. One aspect we've improved in each cycle is developing a big batch of ideas, making them, and releasing them frequently enough to post daily. With HEY Calendar being our main priority this cycle, we're excited to delve into creative ideation and content production to further build anticipation for the full launch.

Marketing Campaign 

For HEY Calendar, we want to be able to connect with current HEY email customers as well as new customers—those who have possibly considered HEY in the past but wanted a calendar feature. We will bring unique HEY Calendar features to life through different human angles.

will pitch HEY Calendar ideas to leadership. Some of the themes we're playing around with include:
  1. Getting back on track and achieving balance in the new year. 
  2. Demonstrating how much better HEY Calendar is compared to Apple and Google's calendars, highlighting limitations we didn't even realize they had.
  3. Personalization, specifically how HEY Calendar builds on the best aspects of a paper and digital calendar while incorporating emotion and personality. 
While this new batch of content is in development, our Cycle 6 batch of content will be posting regularly through January as well as a new Calendar walkthrough video Chad will be finishing at the beginning of the Cycle.

will work together to create a landing page for the campaign so visitors can learn more and view some of the other content in the series.

Sean Mitchell Sean
is wrapping up the HEY Calendar page and index updates which will go live when the Calendar is available to everyone. Once the mobile app is in stores, he'll also be updating the /apps page. And if there is additional time this Cycle, he will begin converting hey.com over to Skiff.

Once 🔥
Sean is finalizing the Once logo and the Campfire logo as well as finishing up the Campfire product page, EULA page, index updates, and the Shopify theme. These will all go live when Campfire is available to everyone.

Basecamp ⛺️

Similar to HEY's Help Scout docs, Sean will be updating Basecamp's docs.

As always, we left some padding for various requests and updates as well as time for media reformatting, social posting and community management. We're excited to get going!
