6.06 - Education Committee Report

I will move this report into the appropriate folder when it is finished and when it is time.

This month we began the new years agenda with the business in a box series. Our first meeting of the month was to set down what we would include and how we would present it. What it should look like and how we are going to go about getting it to look like that.

This year, Kevin Holdridge has joined us and will be working on getting in touch with the Fellows of AIBD to tap into that fountain of knowledge.

I will be meeting with Garrett to go over the technical side of this, what we need to do, what we can/cannot do, in regards to technical stuff. How we envision this looking and some of the different components that are needed. Also, how we may set up a template that allows specific members to add, or upload information. (In an effort not to add much more onto Garrett.)

Finally, we spoke about the next project, Designer in a Box, where we begin helping members learn how to do the basics and more. This is still in discussion and we will be moving slowly, so that we can get the business in a box operating.

2nd Meeting of the month was established as a temporary meeting, so we can keep the momentum moving. Kevin has been working with the Fellows to restart some version of mentoring.
