While the total number of active CPBDs decreased by one since last month, it has grown by four since the fiscal year commenced on July 1, 2025.

The stability in our numbers is primarily attributed to dedicated efforts in retaining and recertifying existing CPBDs. Over the past four months, three have passed without a single candidate completing and passing the exam, highlighting a concerning drought in new certifications. Historically, we may get a month with zero new CPBDs once every 12 to 18 months.

Since July 1, we've assisted 24 suspended CPBDs in regaining their active status, ten more than during the same time period last year.

Membership experienced a 1% decrease last month. Year-to-date for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2025, it has declined by 4%, representing a reduction of 40 members.

In October, the A-Team launched the "Big ASS. goal." (ASS. is an abbreviation for Associate).

The Goal:
To report having 1000 Associate members on October 31, 2026.

In an effort to enlist the assistance of our Professional membership, I am making the following motion.

Motion:
I move a temporary expansion of the Bill Ding Membership Award to include a complimentary one-year membership for Professional Members who successfully recruit five or more Associate Members between now and October 31, 2026.

Discussion:
The program currently offers a complimentary year of Professional membership to individuals who meet the following recruitment criteria:
  • Recruit one Corporate member, generating $1,000 in revenue.
  • Recruit three Professional members, generating $945 in revenue.
Additionally, recruiting five Associate members would generate $975 in revenue.
The A-Team is also working on additional "gifts" for providing leads.
