1. Nothing new to update from last meeting
2. SUNY Tableau project - Gail
SUNY has a server license being used for SUNY data and dashboard, one analyst programmer is hired by SUNY Central.
Gail tested the Alma-Tableau Connector setup, limitations: 50K rows and has to be in an existing report format.
SLSS initial intentions: DV, physical inventory and fulfillment activities.
SLSS would like the inputs and suggestions from this group.
Past user experience of Tableau (SUNY, UB, Binghamton and New Paltz): high learning curve; not being used much after the initial excitement phase and staff expertise left SUNY.
Suggestions from the AWG:
ILLiad data analysis, e.g. subject/classification for borrowing requests
Collection overlap analysis
DV and analysis projects tie in with Open SUNY initiatives, and library resources to support instructions (all modes).
Collaboration with SUNY Central support staff (Tableau analyst programmer and SLC)
Alma network zone bib analysis
3. Ex Libris project - SUNY/AWG volunteered updates - Kristy
ExL wants to revamp and improve the Alma Analytics out-of-the-box reports and dashboards, including consortia inputs and institutions.
ExL created a Basecamp group/project.
The working group is still looking for more volunteers, if interested, please send Kristy an email or post in this group BC.
