Scouting Salutes the Military

On behalf of the National Capital Area Council of Scouting America, we are pleased to share details for the upcoming Scouting Salutes the Military event.

Event Details
Date: April 23, 2026
Time: 6:00–9:00 PM
Location: The Army Navy Country Club, Arlington, VA

This annual program honors the service, sacrifice, and leadership of our military community. The event is chaired by Lt. Gen. Marc Sasseville, USAF (Ret.) and will feature Vice Admiral John B. Nowell, Jr., USN (Ret.)—Eagle Scout and President & CEO of the U.S. Navy Memorial—as our keynote speaker.

Held during the Month of the Military Child, this event highlights Scouting America’s commitment to supporting military-connected youth, fostering resilience, belonging, and character development for families serving around the globe.
