Morning Motivation for Educators is a podcast designed to help inspire and support educators doing the work that is so important: educating kids to be healthy, well-adjusted adults.

We believe educators play an important role in that. And they need help. Our small contribution is to have motivational stories, ideas, strategies, and experiences delivered to their ears on a daily basis to help them have the energy to keep doing this important work.

There are a myriad of challenges conspiring against their success. Our goal is to be something they can turn to daily to stay inspired.

Helping out is easy. Here's all you need to do:

1. Choose a topic
2. Reserve a publication date
3. Upload a publish-ready show file using our script.

Choose a Topic

Because we are inspiring our current teachers, we want messages that are topical, inspiring, and helpful. Your topic should be focused on inspiring.

We steer clear of taking sides on controversial topics, as taking sides on controversial topics only serves to alienate the other side and contributes to demotivation.

Since we get many different submissions, if your topic is inappropriate for our feed, it will be rejected and you won't be notified.

Reserve a Publication Date

Using this Google Sheet, sign up for a date that you would like the podcast to be published.

That publication date is not guaranteed, and you may be moved forward or backward in time to accommodate our publishing needs.

In the Google Sheet, column A is the publication date, and column B is the due date. If you're episode is not uploaded by the due date, a different episode will be put there.

Upload a file using our script

In order to provide continuity for our listeners and ensure they are having a great experience, we provide you with a skeleton Script that will help you know how to appropriately introduce the podcast, yourself, your content, and close out the podcast.

Script
The Script can help you know what you should say. Writing it out helps ensure a solid delivery and helps keep the content tight. Your total recording should be less than 5 minutes, which is about 1000 words, read at a comfortable speed.

You may of course introduce yourself and establish credibility as part of your content that you create. Help someone understand why they should listen to you.

Recording
To record, use a microphone in a quiet room, and read your script in a lively, engaged voice. Export your file as an MP3, not .m4a or .wav. save it as the title.mp3 so if your title were abundance, you would save the file as abundance.mp3

Upload
To submit your podcast, upload it to this link. When you upload it, it will add your name to the file. That is the name you want in the title of the podcast.

The podcasts are titled as yourtitle - yourname so it looks like this:
