Sydney Eyedrop is a medication-reminder app sponsored by Sydney Eye Hospital Foundation (SEHF) and developed and distributed by Packaged Solutions Pty Ltd (trading as Getbusi), ABN 35 099 376 495. Getbusi is the app developer named on the App Store and Google Play listings; SEHF owns the brand, content, and clinical direction. No account is required to use the app. 

Health-Related Data 

Medication names, schedules, dose reminders, and adherence logs exist only on your device. They are never transmitted externally.

What we collect

We do not collect or transmit any information about you. All data you enter is
stored exclusively on your device. The app does not include any analytics SDK,
advertising SDK, crash-reporting service, or server-side component.

Health-related data

Medication names, dosing schedules, and adherence logs are stored locally on your device solely to deliver your scheduled dose reminders and show your adherence history within the app. They are not uploaded, shared, or accessible to Getbusi, SEHF, or any third party.

Notifications

The app schedules local dose reminders using your device's built-in notification services (Apple UserNotifications on iOS; Android AlarmManager and notification framework on Android). Notification content is generated and delivered on-device.

Resources section

The Resources section links to third-party patient-information websites. Tapping a link opens the page inside the app or in your browser. Those sites are operated independently under their own privacy policies. We do not send those sites any information about you.

Permissions

The app requests only the permissions necessary for its core function:
  • Notifications — to deliver dose reminders.
    • Time Sensitive (iOS) — so reminders fire at the precise scheduled time.
    • Exact alarms (Android) — so reminders fire at the precise scheduled time.
  • Internet — to load third-party patient-information pages you choose to open from the Resources section.

Data retention and deletion

Your data remains on your device until you remove it. To delete:
  • Delete individual plans from within the app.
  • Uninstall the app to remove all data permanently.
There is no account and no server-side data for us to hold or delete on your behalf.

Children

The app is intended for adults managing their own or a family member’s eye-medication routine. It is not directed at children.

Compliance

This app operates in accordance with Australian privacy laws, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted in an app update release note, and the "Last updated" date above will change.
