Monthly Report Summary
The NCBDC met on the 19th of this month to review committee reports and receive staff updates on financials and operations. These updates are also reflected in the Board of Directors’ Financials and Operations report.
The exam certification program continues to operate smoothly and consistently.
The Executive Scheme Committee has now met three times since our last Board meeting. Approvals for updates to the exam procedures, along with miscellaneous policy and procedural changes, as previously reported during our membership meeting in Asheville, have been completed.
One item remains under discussion: the selection process for proctors. A fourth Executive Scheme Committee meeting has been scheduled to address this.
The Recertification Committee has launched a 90-day initiative aimed at reducing the number of suspended members. The current total stands at 97, and the goal is to bring that number down by at least 40% or better.
That concludes my report for this month.
