8.1 - Residential Building Program Flyer
Please find below a newsworthy piece from the Georgia folks. This was sent to me this morning, after 4 years of considerable work, patience, and faith. With Stephanie Voltolin at the lead with the state, we have launched the first-of-its-kind program in the United States and are going live as we speak. This is the boost our industry and organization needed to fill the 20-year gap in much-needed professionals. This truly unique program will open with 2 (or more) of its 4 instructors being AIBD members. This most certainly should be tied to our national efforts with the NCBDC. This is offered as a model to the national membership to start the process in their state. We can seed the trail by sharing our experience in getting this designed, formatted, and launched at a state level. It was our Industry Need Analysis, for the greater Atlanta Metro of 7 million people, that provided the final substantiation that pushed the state over the edge. We are most excited to offer this accomplishment as a show to the industry of what our members can do. Together, I hope we can move this model nationwide. This is my first full authorization to publicize the program. It took me almost 20 minutes!
