With the understanding that we cannot guarantee a 100% risk-free environment, the following health and safety regulations are in effect for all religious services and events inside Tikvat Israel's building:
  • All persons 5 years old and older must be vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend indoor services or other events in the synagogue building. Eligible adults must also have received an appropriate booster to be considered fully vaccinated.
  • To prevent the spread of communicable disease – such as COVID-19 – always follow routine hygiene practices such as handwashing and staying home when you don't feel well.
  • At this point in time, we encourage everyone to wear masks while in the building.
  • When we hold services in the Sanctuary, chairs will be arranged in small groupings in the back for those that wish to have more distance between family groups.
  • When we hold services or events in the Social Hall, chairs and tables will be spread out to allow for distancing between family groups.
  • We will continue to have in-person kiddushim. When the weather cooperates, we will provide the opportunity to eat outside on the back patio. To-go containers will be available for those who are not comfortable dining in-person.
Please continue to make the decisions that are best for you and your family’s health, while remaining considerate of the health needs and comfort of others.

We encourage members to remain vigilant and reduce their risk of exposure and infection. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and update these guidelines as conditions warrant.
