With the understanding that we cannot guarantee a 100% risk-free environment, the following health and safety guidelines apply to all religious services and events inside Tikvat Israel's building:
  • In keeping with the Jewish mandate to guard one's health, Tikvat Israel strongly encourages members of all ages, in consultation with your doctor, to stay current with all CDC-recommended and FDA-approved vaccines, including COVID-19, RSV and the Flu.
  • To prevent the spread of communicable disease – such as COVID-19 – always follow routine hygiene practices such as handwashing and staying home when you don't feel well.
  • At this point in time, COVID-19 is still extremely contagious. We encourage everyone to consider wearing a mask while in the building.
  • As circumstances warrant, we may set aside certain areas in the Sanctuary or Social Hall as "Masked Required." We ask everyone's cooperation in respecting sections marked as such.
  • We are currently having most of our meals and kiddushim in person, upon request and when the weather cooperates, we will provide the opportunity to eat outside on the back patio.
Please continue to make the decisions that are best for you and your family’s health, while remaining considerate of the health needs and comfort of others.
