👋 Question
Request for Input: NetLibrary, GVRL, and SUNY Press
Shannon Pritting (SUNY)
Hi Everyone,
I think that this question would best be discussed among multiple working groups, so I wanted to post this question out to this group in the hopes you can consider this in your working group, if relevant.
We've been reviewing what libraries on the shared servers have in their Aleph regarding e-resources.
Many have netlibrary records, and some have SUNY press records, and some have some GVRL records.
I did some investigation and found that, when NYLINK was still around, there was a group SUNY purchase of several collections of NetLibrary books (files attached).
Also, it looks like there is a shared GVRL collection of about 50 encyclopedias.
And, all of the SUNY Press titles are available to all SUNYs.
I'm considering providing these three collections as ones that would best be handled in the Network Zone, and not to have these titles migrated from Aleph. But, I wanted to get everyone's insights on this.
NYLINK netlibrary collections are below.
