Intel® SFI Professional Development Suite and its alignment with European key competences frameworks

Dear CoP members,
Intel® Skills for Innovation Professional Development Suite (SFI PD Suite) is an 80-hour-long, four-stage, online, free training offer designed to equip educators with the necessary skills to adapt technology in an anywhere learning environment and create technology-infused learning experiences that aim to build future-ready skills and mindsets in learners.
On Intel's request, experts from ALL DIGITAL and Bantani Education (partners of the DigCompHub project) assessed the alignment of the SFI PD Suite with DigComp and three other European key competences frameworks:
- DigCompEdu: The European Framework for the Digital Competence of Educators
- EntreCompEdu: The Educators’ Professional Competence Framework for Entrepreneurial Learning
- EntreComp: The Entrepreneurship Competence Framework
The analysis performed of the SFI PD Suite's content found a high degree of alignment with the mentioned frameworks. This means that educators taking the Intel SFI PD Suite training can enhance their professional development by boosting their own and their students' digital and entrepreneurial competences.
On September 17th 18:00 CEST, the European frameworks and the alignment assessment results will be presented at a jointly organised webinar titled "Intel ® SFI Professional Development: A Path to Digital and Entrepreneurial Mastery". The webinar targets the SFI Community, counting over 95 thousand members worldwide, and anyone else interested in the topic.
