The Department of Plant, Soil, and Microbial (PSM) Sciences and the W.K. Kellogg Biological
Station (KBS) at Michigan State University invite applications for a full-time, tenure system
Associate or Full Professor with a 60% research, 15% teaching and 25% service agreement.
The ideal candidate for this tenured faculty position (Associate or Full Professor rank) should be internationally recognized as a leader in agricultural ecology, with expertise in ecosystems ecology, biogeochemistry, and global environmental change. They should demonstrate documented experience in systems level approaches.We seek an interactive individual to join our diverse group of ecologists and evolutionary biologists at the renowned KBS field station (kbs.msu.edu). The agroecologist will have collaborative opportunities and potential leadership roles in long-term agroecosystem experiments, including the KBS Long Term Ecological Research site (LTER) and the KBS Long Term Agroecosystem, with additional opportunities be a part of the Great Lakes Bioenergy Research Center (GLBRC). This position is supported through Michigan State University’s Global Impact Initiative, designed to address global grand challenges and national priorities through the creation of over 100 new faculty positions in some of the most promising – and critical – fields of research.
