Happy New Year!

I am looking forward to this coming year and moving forward with projects we have in store for AIBD.

Some of you may have heard of Darren Hardy's Jumpstart program. Darren Hardy is a well-known business advisor. He launched a program called Jumpstart, a six session class on the personal choices we make, the personal behaviors we exhibit and the personal habits we have formed over the years. It is a mentorship program that helps guide you through life and business goals.

Along with a selected few members of the AIBD Board and Staff, I participated in this last year. This year we are going to launch the program again only it will be through saved recordings of the session and involve AIBD members in a Hopin or GoTo Meeting setup.

Watch for notices about this program coming up in our Monday Minute. I highly recommend it. And if you fully engage yourself in this program I believe you will come out of it a better person both for your family, friends, and your personal life and with running your business.

I have been expressing my concerns to Steve over the condition of our chapters. Resolution to this is becoming a priority as my role as AIBD President. My concerns are not new; the need to help our chapters has been a discussion that has gone on for a few years now. Many, including myself have been involved in trying to help our chapters succeed. Some great ideas and programs have been put in place. We need the time and effort to communicate that out to our chapters to make them happen.

Steve and I are looking at bringing in staff help. This is still an ongoing discussion I am having with Steve. I see Steve working very hard to help our chapters but with his responsibilities as Executive Director, it is not going to be enough. I trust Steve's opinion as we continue to discuss it and I hope over the next month or two that we create definite direction and goals to solve this. This is one of those areas I am excited about for 2021.

As I mentioned last month, if there is anything the Board can do to help with your committee and committee goals, please bring them up. When you report on your committees, it might be a good time to bring up anything if you need help.
