This is the basic guide to give teams what they need to know to play the game!

The rules and scenarios are still being adjusted, and here is what we know at the moment:

  1.  You will need to create a team to participate in the challenges.
  2. Team size is being determined, but it will likely be a minimum of 5, and a max of 10
  3. teams will likely have some restrictions applied to them, to help encourage participation and mingling
  4. possible team guidelines being considered are: each team must include at least 1 person from a different kingdom; and another idea is that each team must include at least 1 newcomer (part of the sca for 1 year or less).
  5. no special clothing is necessary (IE no armor is needed), but you should be comfortable in a full range of movement and motion.
  6. there is a chance of getting wet, so plan accordingly
  7. there are challenges that will pit your team against others, so be aware of what your team is doing on the field, and where other teams are in relation to your own.
  8. the game is tenatively set to start at 7pm on Friday night of the War, on the battlefield.  Teams can signup and get prepped at the nearby Cock & Bulls Tavern, near the eastern edge of the battlefield, starting at 6pm.
  9. You will encounter a number of different challenge stations out on the battlefield; the main goal of the evening is to attempt as many of them as you can, and gain as many health tokens as possible as a result.
  10. The challenges are still being developed, but they will cater to all aspects of skills developed within the SCA, usually with some sort of twist to traditional applications of said skills.
  11. There will be prizes for the winning team.
