By far, July is the most active month of the ARDA year. Yes, we have preparation and the entry period. But nothing matches the last week and a half of June to the final award given late on gala night.

This July proved to be just as active as previous years. Earlier in the month, all trophy orders were individually reviewed and submitted. Steve has spent countless hours working on the ARDA script and presentations, and I have written the ARDA edition of the magazine has been edited, and sent off to the printer, and will again be here at the conclusion of our Gala. I feel it is important to point out that due to better preparation and planning, the cost of our ARDA edition magazine was 50% lower this year from last year.

While we can all be proud of another record breaking year for ARDA revenue, and that we have been able to maintain a level of well over 200 entries for three years strong, we can also be proud of the reality that we are finding ways to cut costs as each year goes.

I am optimistic that the future is bright for ARDA. I can assure you that the thoughts of ARDA 2026 are already present and already being worked on. We will continue to work wisely and with innovation, to ensure its place as the premiere residential design award program. But before that, we have a celebration, we have memories to make, for some, we have dreams to fulfill.

See you Saturday night!
