Some items to point out include:
Some items to point out include:
- The sleeping room rate is $219/night plus taxes. This is $10/night more than the Loews in Nashville. For the added expense, there is added value.
- Every room is a suite.
- There is a complimentary breakfast buffet with an omelet station.
- Complimentary cocktails are available at 5:00 pm each evening.
- We are offered three staff rooms for four nights and five speaker rooms for two nights at $165/night. The Loews gave us three staff rooms for five nights at $177/night and no speaker rooms.
- They are asking for a $12,000 minimum Food and Beverage commitment to avoid paying any rental fees for the meeting rooms. This is $3000 more than the Loews required.
- For perspective, at the Loews, we spent $40,886.19. Over $12,000 was for the Saturday night awards dinner only.
- The room attrition clause requires that we meet 85% of our sleeping room commitment of 157 room nights. In Nashville, the requirement was 80% of 153 rooms. We sold 135+ (88%).
- The menu rates are equivalent to what we paid at the Loews in Nashville.
