Our Circular Event Calendar highlights repair workshops, sustainability meetups, reuse initiatives, community cleanups, and other circular‑economy‑aligned happenings across Philadelphia. As a calendar contributor, you’ll help us keep this resource fresh and useful by researching upcoming events and adding them to our website. This is a flexible, remote‑friendly role that directly supports community awareness and engagement.

🛠️ What Volunteers Do
  • Research 5-10 upcoming events that align with circular‑economy themes (repair, reuse, composting, sustainability, zero waste, etc.) across the city
  • Verify event details such as date, time, location, and host organization
  • Add events to our website calendar using our submission form
  • Ensure listings are clear, accurate and helpful for community members
  • Flag any standout or recurring events for staff follow‑up

💡 What You’ll Learn / Gain
  • Familiarity with Philadelphia’s sustainability and circular‑economy ecosystem
  • Experience curating and managing community‑facing event listings
  • Insight into local organizations working on repair, reuse, and waste reduction
  • A flexible, independent volunteer role you can complete on your own time

⏰ Time Commitment
  • One 2 hour shift
