The NCBDC Executive Committee is still working on updating the policies and procedures manual.

Beginning January 1, 2026, a suspended CPBD will pay an additional $45 to recertify.

The updated exam and corresponding Certification Handbook are still being revised with a projected completion date by the end of this month.

The Recertification Committee has successfully concluded a 90-day challenge aimed at reinstating as many suspended CPBDs as possible. Over the past quarter of 2025, their efforts resulted in the recertification of 18 professionals.

Although we're still refining our tracking methods, it seems we've significantly improved our reinstatement numbers, rising from approximately 32 in 2024 to at least 61 in 2025.
