North Star: We, the People, Parks and Power (P3) Collective, are a BIPOC-led force that believes that all communities must have the opportunity to be healthy and thrive. We seek to heal our relationship with land, recognizing its influence on our food systems, housing stability, our climate and environment, and our physical, mental, and spiritual health.

Estrella del Norte: Nosotros, el Colectivo Personas, Parques y Poder (P3), somos una fuerza liderada por personas BIPOC que cree que todas las comunidades deben tener la oportunidad de ser saludables y prosperar. Buscamos sanar nuestra relación con la tierra, reconociendo su influencia en nuestros sistemas alimentarios, la estabilidad de la vivienda, nuestro clima y medio ambiente, y nuestra salud física, mental y espiritual.
We work towards our North Star by sharing our gifts, skills, and wisdom with each other and our communities:
- Interrogating and unlearning extractive land ownership and stewardship models
- Engaging in continued political education and sharing stories that preserve and protect democracy for current and future generations
- Working with the tools we have within existing systems while acknowledging that some systems need to be abolished
- Approaching this work based on our unique lived experiences, histories, privileges, and assumed risks.
- Building solidarity with each other and providing mutual care to survive and thrive in this work
Trabajamos para alcanzar nuestra meta compartiendo nuestros dones, habilidades y sabiduría entre nosotros y con nuestras comunidades:
- Cuestionar y desaprender los modelos de propiedad y gestión extractiva de la tierra.
- Participar en la formación política continua y compartir historias que preserven y protejan la democracia para las generaciones presentes y futuras.
- Trabajar con las herramientas que tenemos dentro de los sistemas existentes, reconociendo al mismo tiempo que algunos sistemas deben ser abolidos.
- Abordamos este trabajo basándonos en nuestras experiencias vividas, historias, privilegios y riesgos asumidos, que son únicos para cada persona.
- Construir solidaridad entre nosotros y brindarnos apoyo mutuo para sobrevivir y prosperar en este trabajo.
