1.Appeals to ICC results
  • Appeals from ICC Group -B code hearings is complete. 
  • Hope to provide basic results in December 2020.
2.New Activity.
2.1 Defining Townhouse/Townhome.
    2021 IBC definition: 
  • Townhouse- A building that contains three or more attached housing units.
  • Townhouse Unit- A single- family dwelling unit in a townhouse that extends from        foundation to roof and that has a yard or public way on not less than two sides.
  • The AIBD and NAHB will be working to develop an improved definition for the IRC
2.3 Joint meeting AIBD & NAHB 10-23-20.
