👥 Who: All Scouting Leaders, Parents, and Supporters
Join us for the Loudoun District Court of Honor, an evening dedicated to celebrating the outstanding leaders, Scouts, and Units who have made an impact over the past year! This is your opportunity to nominate deserving adult leaders for prestigious awards and recognize the incredible achievements of our Scouts.
🎖️ Recognizing Our Dedicated Scouting Leaders
We encourage every unit to nominate outstanding leaders for the following adult recognition awards:
Training & Leadership Awards
• 🏅 Scouter’s Training Award – For trained, registered Scouters with at least two years of tenure.
• 🏅 Den Leader Training Award – For Den Leaders who complete training and tenure requirements.
• 🏅 District Award of Merit – The highest district-level award, recognizing exceptional service to youth.
• 🏅 Venturing Leadership Award – Recognizing Venturers who exemplify leadership and service.
🔹 Recognition & Service Awards
• 🏅 Scouter’s Key – For unit leaders who advise new Scouts and train troop guides.
• 🏅 Commissioner Awards – Recognizing the dedication of Scouting Commissioners.
• 🏅 George Meany-Lane Kirkland Human Rights Award – For union members contributing significantly to Scouting programs.
• 🏅 Cubmaster Award – For Cubmasters completing training, tenure, and performance requirements.
📌 Nomination Process:
Please print and complete the nomination applications and email them to our District Training Committee Vice Chair, Joe Kotch at joe.kotch11@gmail.com for his signature.
