AGENDA
- We approved and published the minutes for December at https://www.fhvra.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/December-Meeting-Minutes.pdf.
- The AGM was started with sufficient members to pass motions
- Scott Roberts was proposed, seconded and approved to become Vice-Chair after John Taylor (JT) stepped down. The committee would like to thanks John for his effort, work and initial drive in setting up the FHVRA back in 2017, he will be missed.
- The rest of the committee (see above) was re-elected en-mass to continue for the full 2020 term.
- The constitution was amended and approved to change slightly the language regarding the definition of a resident and also to avoid anonymous or withheld proxy comments that we felt were not in the spirit of transparency. The revised version is available at https://www.fhvra.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Constitution2020.pdf
- VL presented the accounts, which have £170 in the bank and £47 cash in hand (collected via the tin in Long Can Hall). This is all currently allocated for the De-Fib fund, which will stand at £217 when the cash is paid in. Huge thanks to the village for their donations which should see us through the next year or two.
- There was no notifiable progress on Meadfleet since the last meeting.
- The Bathouse Plan is being progressed by SK (who was absent but provided a minor update that simply restates the existing plan).
- Discussion were held regarding the planned events for 2020 and are provisionally as follows
- The Little Village Bake Off in February. More details to come.
- The Easter Egg Hunt in April. More details to come.
- The Fountainhead PotHead Festival in August. More details to come.
- Halloween in October. More details to come.
- Christmas in December. More details to come.
- We discussed improving the diversity and representation on the committee, specifically Signal View after the loss of Justyna last year. We will individually approach folks and further welcome approaches from anyone residing on Signal View.
- Residents issues list was unchanged from last month so not reviewed except to note that the owner of the "abandoned cars" in the park has been identified and will be spoken to prior to the next meeting.
Minutes by MD, meeting started 7:30pm and closed at 9:30pm. Next meeting is Tues 4th of February 2020. Minutes by MD, checked by JR.
