00:40:52 Nicole Colello-Klubek: Nancy - are students staffing the concierge desk or FT staff? 00:40:53 Ken Fujiuchi: Are you recording visitor logs for contact tracing and if so what process are you using? 00:43:44 Louise Charbonneau: Anyone having open stacks? 00:44:46 Noah: Are you using a people counter or some other method to limit capacity? 00:46:52 Kristy Lee: New Paltz is going to use a access booking suystem 01:00:01 Ken Fujiuchi: Sorry to bring up contact tracing again but its something we are struggling with. So regardless of logging, how are your libraries planning to provide the 48 hour logs of everyone who entered your site, and how are you coordinating with the rest of your campus. 01:01:04 Teresa Ronning: are you scanning textbooks, how are you reconciling with copyright and impact on market 01:04:26 Stephanie P Hess: Is anyone else interested in joining HathiTrust? Binghamton is currently pursuing a membership and Univ Buffalo is the only other SUNY member. 01:06:06 Holly Chambers: Out of our price range I think (Potsdam), unless there were some deal through SUNY. 01:06:44 Holly Chambers: And even then… 01:08:24 Mila Su: there is no 10% rule. using fair use allows for more flexiblity 01:09:35 Stephanie Helsher: Is anyone deciding to pay royalties/copyright fees for scans in excess of what you believe to be fair use? 01:09:38 Teresa Ronning: thank you! 01:09:59 Stephanie P Hess: Yes thanks shess@binghamton.edu 01:11:15 Teresa Ronning: That would quickly be unsustainable for our campus 01:21:07 Nicole Colello-Klubek: Is anyone planning on gathering stats on user behaviors in the libraries? Such as # of users wearing and not wearing masks, social distancing, etc...? If so, how are you planning to do this? We've been open limited hours this week and of the 20 users in the library, 11 were not wearing masks, even after they were told to wear their masks. We're trying to figure out the safest way to gather these statistics - any suggestions are welcomed! 01:22:03 Cristina Pope: we count masks/no mask wearing when our team does walk throughs. 01:22:24 Erin Wilburn: for those who staff with students, is anyone else waiting to hear about the federal work study situation? Do you have alternative plans/staffing models if work study students are not available? 01:22:32 Jeff Goldstein: How are your staff feeling about reopening, and how are you dealing with the emotional component to reopening? 01:24:54 Cristina Pope: we had a similar situation ... when we first re-opened, 50-80% took the mask off once they sat down at a study area ... a month into it and with more students visible in the Library, we are seeing much better compliance 01:25:14 Mila Su: Plattsburgh does have work study, but no temp service. As noted it is a reduced # and we may have to change our hours. 01:26:18 Joe Riggie | BSC: How has work from home impacted your reopening plans? Have most of your staff indicated they will return to cover the beginning of the semester? 01:27:09 Holly Chambers: Very interesting discussion. thanks to all, off to another meeting. 01:27:26 Mila Su: Curious if other libraries were able to get filters in their hvac system. We just had the filters installed. 01:27:56 Douglas Moore: Our library was able to upgrade the filters to MERV-13 01:31:21 Mila Su: thank you everyone. Good luck and be safe! 01:31:22 Kristy Lee: Thank you All. 01:31:26 Jacquie: Thank you.
