Welcome! These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) outline the rules and expectations for working with Semela Studio LTD. (“we,” “our,” “us”) and the Client (“you,” “your”).

By engaging our services, you agree to the following terms:

1. Services

Our current service offerings include: Logotype, Brand Guidelines, Social Media, Email, Web Design, UI/UX Design, Webflow Development, Landing Pages, Mobile App Design, Customer Experience Design.

You can always find the most up-to-date list on our website. For anything that’s not listed or if you’re unsure whether something is covered, check our FAQ — we’ve addressed most common and edge-case scenarios there.

Semela Studio does not support the following types of design work: video production, photography, 3D modeling, animated graphics (videos, GIFs, etc.), document design (e.g., medical forms), complex packaging, extensive print design (magazines, books, etc.), or Adobe InDesign files.


2. Note about larger requests

Larger requests are broken down into smaller parts. This applies to full-scale website or mobile app designs, UI/UX work, and more. You can expect to receive a steady flow of progress every 24–48 hours during business days until the request is complete.

3. Payment Terms

The service fee is $2,999 USD for 4 weeks (28 days) of service.
  • Payment is due upfront before work begins.
  • Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing. For special cases, see the Refunds section below for more details.

4. Service Period

What You Get Every 4 Weeks:
  • Unlimited design requests — submit as many as you like, and I will complete them one by one.
  • Fast turnaround — most tasks delivered within 48 hours during business days (Monday to Friday).
  • Webflow development included — no need for a separate developer.
  • Fixed monthly rate — one clear price, no surprises.
  • Unlimited revisions — we’ll keep refining until you're happy.
  • Dedicated designer — you’ll always work with the same person.
  • Personal support — direct access for guidance and feedback.
  • Simple request system — easy to submit and track tasks.
  • Flexibility — pause or cancel anytime.
Note: Unused time or requests do not roll over to the next period.

5. Communication

All communication will take place via Basecamp.
Response time is typically within 48 hours during business days.

6. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:
  • Provide all necessary information, feedback, and approvals promptly.
  • Provide all relevant design assets, such as branding elements, fonts, logos, imagery, and any other materials needed to complete your requests efficiently.
  • Respond within [e.g., 2 business days] to questions or deliverables to keep the project moving.
Delays in communication may affect delivery timelines.

7. Revisions

Unlimited revisions are included — we’ll keep refining the design until you're fully satisfied, no extra charges.

8. Cancellation

Either party may cancel services with written notice.
  • If canceled mid-cycle, no refunds are provided for the current 4-week period.
  • You may choose not to renew for the next 4-week period without penalty.

9. Refunds

Not quite what you expected in the first week? No worries — I’ll refund 75% of your fee, no hard feelings.

After the first week, due to the custom and high-quality nature of the work, refunds are no longer available. Additionally, refunds are not offered for work that has already been completed and delivered.

10. Availability & Delays

In the event that I’m unable to work due to illness, personal emergency, or planned time off (such as holidays), I will always communicate this with you in advance whenever possible. 

If this affects the agreed delivery timeline, you will receive one additional week of service free of charge to make up for the delay.

11. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, you own the final designs and deliverables created specifically for you.

We reserve the right to showcase completed work in our portfolio unless agreed otherwise.

12. Limitation of Liability

We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the services.

13. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of New Zealand.
