Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She has traveled and lived across the country, landing in the Pikes Peak Region.  Marina is a U.C.C.S. graduate with a degree in Geography and Environmental Studies. After graduation Marina made brewing yeast with the guidance of Dr.Mattoon at U.C.C.S.  She was a presence in the local restaurant scene working at "The Margarita at Pine Creek" for 27 yrs. forgoing a career in GES to focus on raising 3 children, with husband, Bill.  Marina ran the "La Rosa " restaurant in Palmer Lake with New Mexican Chile the main focus, "It's all about the Chile".  The  menu featured New Mexican Cuisine and original creations.  Marina engaged in non-profit endeavors, hiking, art projects, and , of course, family.  She volunteered and participated with "Body Packaging", an art runway show and was a winner of a1982 Air Guitar contest with an Air group "The Air Hearts". She continues to play air guitar in the kitchen and cook for small groups and friends.
