Morgon: Diamond in Lunsen (Forest)

To maximize your stay, and only for the national team runners, we offer you the possibility to run on one of the best part of Lunsen which is not embargoed for O´ringen, but where Uppsala Möte will take place (25-26/04 – Camp in Denmark at that time). The map has been updated and there are not more relevant terrain for O´ringen, and stopping in Uppsala without visiting Lunsen makes no sense ; )


Meeting: 10:45

Map: Lunsen I 1/10.000 I 2,5m

Course: 7,8 km I 125m climb.

Other: 

-          Red & white ribbons at the control
-          1,4km to the start/finish

Eftermiddag: Sprint intervals in Stenhagen

For that one, we visit a residential area north-west of the city. The idea is to have some rather short, forked and unforked, intervals.

Mass-start: 16:00 [Depending of the number of entries, there might be different group, more info later on]

Map: Stenhagen I 1/4.000 I 2m

Course: 5 intervals:
1,5km, 1,4km, 1,6km 1,4km, 1,3km

Other:

- The 5 intervals are printed in the same sheet of paper and organized like that:

- The recovering time in between the intervals is up to you, but 1-2 min is suggested.

- There is a small square near the finish, showing you where is the prestart of the next interval, and the running direction of the next interval. Most of the intervals, restart from the finish flag, except the last one.

We start this KO sprint with the closest part, outside the embargoed for O´ringen, of the city center. The buildings has much similarities with what is expected in Denmark, with inside private yards, and gates.

Qualification 3 heats Men: 3,3km I 16m climb. Women: 2,5km I 16m climb.
Quarter: 2,0km I 35m climb.

Important note : The embargoed area of the O´ringen sprint is pretty near the area we are going to use, make sure you don´t run/warmup there:

For that afternoon, we use one of the best sprint area in Uppsala with intense orienteering and no car traffic.

Start of the first ½ final: 15:00

Course: 
Semi-final: Men: 2,4km - 6m climb. I Women: 2,0km - 6m climb.
Final: 2,1km I 4m climbing.

The idea is to have a full sprint in morning in Sävjä, followed, for those who want to maximize their stay and also prepare a bit for O´ringen, by a contour´s training in the northern part of Lunsen bordering the embargoed area.

First start of the sprint: 10:00

Sprint: Women: 3,5km / 8m climb. I Men: 3,9km / 8m climb.
Diamond: 7,3km

For those who have the opportunity to stay a few more hours in town, we offer you another sprint to simulate two sprints in the same day like at WOC. A lot of fast running for that one, but a few extra barriers bring its challenges.

First start: 15:00 (Start by two on a forked course)
