5.05 Conference Committee
The Conference Committee continues to work on details for the D+B Summer Conference in Cleveland.
The Compass Club contract has been signed and completed. It is important to note that the committee typically has a $3,000 budget for this event, which is exceeded in the contract we ratify today. We are very grateful that the event sponsor will be the OKI Chapter (Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana) and their very gracious financial support of $4,000. Their support will exceed the typical event sponsorship by 25%, clearly showing the pride they have in their home state.
While meeting in New York, we did confirmation from our final education session presenter. That same conference allowed me to bring to secure our Lunch and Learn presenters. I am waiting to hear back from ORAC, an architectural products company that I have worked with for over 30 years, and Metalunic, a steel siding and exterior product company.
Finally, while in New York, I was able to secure the Gala sponsorship, this is something that we have not had in many years. It is a $3000 sponsorship that will be covered by Zaniboni Lighting.
I am looking forward to not only their sponsorship of this event, but ongoing relationships beyond Cleveland.
