1. PCC letter regarding WMS adding non-LC subject headings
No SLC libraries use WMS, so this change does not affect us.
2. UB has sales force cases because adding an alternate title does not “stick” in CZ records; they queried SMSP if there was a local field for this alternate title.
SMSP suggested a better approach was to edit the OCLC master record to include the alternate title.
2. Query from SLC library about adding workmarks to audiobooks.
SMSP feels there are better ways to indicate different copies or formats. Formats can be in different locations or use different material types. Differing items should be indicated by subfield k in the holdings record MARC 852.
