6.11 NCBDC Report

Our August scoreboard is showing much the same on CPBD candidates and CPBD's. The overall numbers are slightly down from 2025.

We had a great meeting in Cleveland and at the annual conference. Our council has now expanded to 14 members, twice as many as last fiscal year, which gives us the additional support needed to accomplish tasks we simply couldn’t get to last year.

We recently held an orientation session to bring council members up to speed on using Basecamp and to begin organizing our committees for the year.

Our Recertification Committee continues to make steady progress in reducing the number of suspended members. Some individuals have chosen to retire and allow their CPBD status to lapse, while others have reached out for assistance in bringing their certification current.

The Outreach Committee is preparing to receive testimony videos prepared by our newly expanded council.
