Raven has begun developing automated email onboarding sequences for new contacts, starting with those who subscribe through our certification webpages.
Garrett has successfully migrated our website from Homelinks CS to a new, self-managed server. While this transition has presented some challenges, such as pages reverting to pre-migration versions, our members have been instrumental in quickly identifying these issues. The move has already resulted in a faster website and gives us complete control over our online presence.
In preparation for the migration, we conducted a comprehensive audit of our webpages and streamlined the site by removing outdated content. This cleanup reduced the amount of data that needed to be transferred to the new server.
A key feature of our new hosting is the ability to create a "ghost" or "test" website. This clone of our live site allows us to test changes and new processes thoroughly before implementing them for public use.
To illustrate, Garrett is currently undertaking the monumental task of importing years of continuing education data from MyCEapp into each CPBD's online transcript—a process involving over 17,000 lines of data. The test site will be invaluable for ensuring this import runs smoothly before we apply it to the live platform.
On the topic of continuing education, Garrett and Rusty have built a new CE reporting platform, which is now housed within your AIBD member account. Here are some screenshots of the new interface:
