- The NCBDC Group met Manny Straehle, our Psychometrician with AERE this past August in Jupiter, Florida to go over and refine the test questions. This is part of our Policies and Procedures to ensure the exam is kept relevant and up to date.
- A survey has been arranged to be completed by all regarding job analysis. Please look for it in your email. It went our to the complete mailing list.
- We have 9 new CPBD's and 23 Candidates for the exam since this August.
- Several CPBDS were removed from the suspension list and permanently "de-certified". Efforts were made to reach them, with disconnected phone numbers. Some no longer in service. One person had been retired for 4 years and hadn't told us. The remaining 5 have been left messages. We will continue to follow up again in the coming week.
- Had a report an individual in Texas was using the AIBD logo, even though they were not a member of the AIBD or a CPBD. We are pursuing more info on the status at this time.
- The plan to pursue accreditation is still in the works.
