We are here! ARDA 2025 begins in just 13 days. I am excited and hopeful for another record breaking year. We are in the process of placing considerable focus on the program via social media outlets so you can plan to see a lot of ARDA 2025 in your feeds.
One of the upcoming promotions includes a review meeting this Friday with Rory Bamford (https://www.linkedin.com/in/rory-bamford-crownsmen) He is the Executive Producer of Building Energy and The Construction Show, among many others. This meeting is where we will review the upcoming show and determine the topics (ARDA of course being at the top of the list) that will be discussed and the time allotments.
The second of these efforts will include being a podcast guest of Johnny Dockman (https://www.linkedin.com/in/johnny-dockman-47493041). My wife and I met him in the fall of 2020 when he was a Producer with The Magnolia Network. While no longer with them, he still has a considerable following in the residential design and build circles, and is very excited to talk about the many aspects of AIBD and ARDA.
Both of these gentlemen share a passion for well thought, functional design, and should only be assets to getting the word out this year. Of course, the goal is not simply to promote ARDA, but also inform and encourage Institute membership.
We now have five of the six judges secured for this year. Once the panel is complete, I will be sharing that information with the Board as I have in the past.
I am also putting the finishing touches on our new fun, short commercial. The completion for that will happen prior to Opening Day. If you recall, we did one last year, but it was not shared as much as it could have been. I will humbly ask that you share it with others who may be interested in entering.
This is the commercial from 2024:
