The Maternal and Child Health Program of the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare and Comagine Health have partnered to establish Idaho’s Perinatal Quality Collaborative (IDPQC). The Idaho PQC brings together clinical providers, public health leaders, payers and community-based organizations to improve outcomes for pregnant people and babies.

The IDPQC is still in it's development stage, but below you can see an overview of efforts that we have taken so far.  You can also find more information on our newly launched website, which can be found here: https://idahopqc.org

IDPQC Champions
To help get the PQC up and running, the IDPQC Establishment team identified and recruited key stakeholders to act as PQC Champions.  These Champions worked with the IDPQC Establishment Team to consider a framework for the shape of the PQC, develop its Mission, Vision, and Value Statement, and reach out to regional stakeholders across the state of Idaho.

Regional Stakeholder Engagement Sessions
To ensure that we hear feedback from every part of Idaho, three Regional Stakeholder Engagement Sessions were organized.

See the links below for the meeting recordings and materials from the Regional Stakeholder Engagement Sessions:

IDPQC Kickoff Meeting
On October 16th, 2023, the IDPQC held its IDPQC Kickoff Meeting.  This meeting was meant to provide an overview of the enrollment process so Hospitals can officially join the PQC's implementation of the AIM Severe Hypertension in Pregnancy Patient Safety Bundle, as well as provide an overview of the IDPQC Governing Structure and make a call for nominations for these positions.

IDPQC - Data Onboarding Session
On December 18th, the IDPQC held its data onboarding session for hospital teams that have enrolled to participate in the first cohort of IDPQC's implementation of the AIM Severe Hypertension in Pregnancy Patient Safety Bundle.  This is the first of these sessions, and was meant to provide additional details about the data collection and reporting process.
