CPBD retention remains consistent at 96.5%. However, only 16 newly certified designers in the past six months. This is a week, 2.7 monthly average. To reach our yearend goal of 40, we must increase our monthly average to four.
In December, there were five new CPBDs.
The staff attended training sessions in December to learn how to launch advertising campaigns via LinkedIn. The goal is to attract more people to the 10-question sample test, thus entering them into our database.
At the end of December, there were 121 suspended CPBDs. The primary reason for suspension is a lack of continuing education. The staff has arranged two four-hour training sessions in January to assist suspended CPBDs to become recertified.
In an effort to slow down the number of suspensions, the staff has compiled a monthly "curriculum" of potential CE courses and will be featuring one or two each month in the Monday Minute.
The goal is to be below 100 by June 30.
The Job Task Analysis Survey closes this Friday. It appears the number of respondents has substantially increased compared to our first JTA in 2018.
Every person who completes the survey receives an eBook and corresponding pre-recorded educational session. And we have been raffling a "Creating Where People Live" hoodie each week of the survey. Winners have been recognized in the Monday Minute. The last drawing will be on Monday.

View full-sizeDownload Rusty is working with Manny, our psychometrician, to set up the next group of subject matter experts to meet in mid-March to review the JTA survey results and determine the final exam outline (blueprint/specification) and allocation of items for each content area. This meeting will be held virtually.
The updated blueprint/specification will be compared to the current ones to determine the required updates to the exam.
