4.12 ARDA Committee Report
As anticipated, we are now in the true heart of the 2025 ARDA Season. Our entry period has ended, judging by our simply amazing judges was completed the third week of June, and we are now preparing for the Gala in August.
The 2025 ARDA season placed us at a final count of 223 total entries, which was exactly the same as 2024's final tally. While I am disappointed that from an entry standpoint, we did not see an increase, we did show a new revenue record. We are still resolving a few matters where members paid the non-discounted rate, therefore showing a higher total prior to adjustments.
We did not have the same dramatic last minute rush as we did last year. Rather we did show a consistent number of entries over the last two weeks with 16% of the total coming in on the final day.
There were a few minor issues regarding the judging that could have been smoother. But overall, the professionalism of our judges made some of those small issues easily resolved. They had no impact on our process and of course, will be part of our overall evaluation of 2025.

As of the writing of this report, we currently working on the trophy deadlines, as well as a 16 page Gala Edition of the magazine that will be available to the Gala attendees in Asheville.
We are already thinking of ARDA 2026, and a few changes that will be happening. But first, Asheville!
