In-class assignment 2 Neuroanatomy Lab

this activity will take about 30 minutes
  • Do the UBC lab sections 1 (introduction) and 2 (cerebral cortex).
  • Fill out your team's pages (there are 2 for each breakout room) on the collaborative whiteboard by doing the following:
    1. Task 1: Figure A indicate somehow
      1. The Central Sulcus
      2. The Lateral Fissure
      3. Frontal Lobe
      4. Occipital Lobe
      5. Parietal Lobe
      6. Temporal Lobe
      7. Cerebellum
    2. Task 2: Figure B indicate somehow
      1. All of the structures from task 1, plus
      2. The limbic lobe
      3. The parieto-occipital sulcus
    3. Task 3: Figures C & D indicate somehow on each one
      1. The "four things" I mentioned in lecture
      2. Which plane the figure is (axial, coronal, sagittal).
  • At the end, if there is time, we will come back together and I'll choose a few figures to check in on!
  • If you finish early: make sure you have filled out the course interest survey!
