We started our meeting with 5 people and an agenda to keep things on track.
We were able to come up with a description for any new members of the committee, or for folks who may be thinking of joining the committee.

Our member description is as follows.
When joining the education committee, the following shall be the responsibilities of the new member. First, you agree to show up to the meetings, as often as possible. You understand that joining this committee requires active participation outside of the scheduled meetings, of about 2 to 2.5 hours per month. You agree to maintain your current membership status, understanding that if you are not in good standing, you will not be able to be a committee member. Finally, you agree to take part in the educational offerings available to all members of the AIBD, both to receive the continued education we need and to understand what our members are receiving.

Our 2nd agenda item is currently being worked on by our members and will be discussed at the next meeting.

Agenda #3 will be worked on in a meeting between the education chair and the conference committee chair, later this week and will be discussed in the next education committee meeting.
