Notes

Join us on Friday, Nov. 7th from 2:00 - 3:00 PM CT for a presentation from the Women’s Refugee Commission (WRC) on the Detention Pregnancy Tracker, the first nationwide tool to collect real-time reports about pregnancy, postpartum, and nursing women detained in the United States as a result of immigration enforcement operations. WRC will also share about the the Parental Rights Toolkit which provides detained and deported immigrant and undocumented mothers and fathers with crucial information they need to protect and maintain parental rights and make well-informed, critical decisions regarding the care and welfare of their children.

Family support professionals including home visitors have a unique and important role to play in documenting the experiences of families impacted by immigration enforcement actions and helping families plan for the safety and care of their children. Learn more about resources available to those working directly with pregnant and postpartum parents and families with young children.  Add your questions for the Women's Refugee Commission using our CoP Q&A form.
