Thanks, Nadine Petty, for this book recommendation in our breakout group: https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/564989/the-sum-of-us-by-heather-mcghee/
For leaning into our discomfort -I recommend reading and starting book study groups with the book My Grandmothers Hands By Resmaa Menakem
"How to Fight Racism" by Jemar Tisby. It's a look at racism from a Christian perspective. The first book I read was "Waking Up White" by Debby Irving a white woman from MA. It's a story of her journey. As a white woman also from MA, I could really relate to her and her story.
