4.15 NCBDC Liaison Report
This will be my last Liaison report to this board. The NCBDC will have a new President.
That person will designate a Council representative as Liaison.
We went through some Council member changes since the last summer conference.
The Council is always looking for new members and assistance. Please consider the
NCBDC as a way to involve yourself in the AIBD.
The Council is considering new updates to the exam as well as how it is to be delivered.
We still seek Accreditation as a way to better validate your skill and expertise as a CPBD.
I again ask those of you who have large offices and staff to have at least one other CPBD is addition to the firm Principal. It is a safety precaution should the principal fall ill. Office projects will still be able to be completed and clients served.
I first was involved with the Council in 2003 as Secretary. I have served as Vice President and President (3rd term). Today, I step down again tothe Ex Officio position.
I wish the best for the Council and will offer any assistance I can as it is an investment in my participation with AIBD.
