And so our Summer begins. 
Here are some numbers for NCBDC for April through May of this year.
One application was received to become a Candidate for the Certification Exam.
We currently have 13 candidates in the pipeline who have yet to schedule their Exam online. We have had two new CPBDs added to the roster.
The Sample Test was taken 67 times.
The Practice Exam was taken 28 times.
CPBD Handbook was downloaded (99) times between 4-1-2025 & 5-31-2025.

The Council met last on May 20th.
Staff reported steps are being taken to update the candidate handbook and get the in-council marketing team working.  Our expenses were up due to a Job Analysis we were required to do
as part of the Exam maintenance outlined in our Policies and Procedures. Our Revenue is down
due to fewer examinations being taken, former CPBDs not paying dues, and being removed from our roster. They also had not kept up on the required annual CEUs to maintain their Certification. Again, I urge our AIBD Certified members to have another CPBD within their office.  Encourage your people to become Certified.
Nominations for the upcoming year are being accepted.  As always, applications to the NCBDC Board are open.  We can only process these at the Summer Conference in Asheville.
Our next NCBDC Board meeting is scheduled for June 17, 2025.
