I would like to extend a warm welcome to all of our Catholic Schoolhouse (CSH) members for 2023-2024, Tour I (T1)!

If you are new to Catholic Schoolhouse, I hope you enjoy discovering that we are more than educational support.

We are a family--a family bonded around the principle of sharing the true, good, and beautiful with our children and thus leading them to love our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

We encounter Christ by sharing Catholic Culture with one another in our communities.

In fact, that is our mission statement:

Empowering families to share Catholic Culture.
At Catholic Schoolhouse we bring families together, allowing them to share and experience immersion in a loving Catholic Community--a community that strives to grow in virtue and holiness. Together we encounter the true, good, and beautiful while forming tomorrow's Catholic adults to be light in the world.

Our vision for the future is a world where all families have the support they need to raise their kids Catholic–immersed in Catholic culture with quality education from a Catholic world view.

This vision means that in every diocese, and every community, three great options exist for the Catholic education and Catechesis of the next generation--our children:  Our diocesan schools, parish religious education, and homeschool programs

Our Diocesan Schools.

We need them. We need to support them. Creating schools that are Catholic, affordable, and true to our Faith is essential to continuing the Catholic tradition of education.

Our parish CCD-Faith Formation-Religious Ed Programs.

As a church, we assist any families who come, and help their children grow in wisdom, knowledge, and grace. These programs need to equip kids who are spending the majority of their day in a secular environment which is indoctrinating them away from Catholic values.

Catholic Homeschool Support.

Yes, every diocese, if not every parish, should offer a Church sponsored, Catholic homeschool support program. Homeschoolers desire a home for their families, inside the Church, immersed in service and worship.

I am asking you to join in our work, as a church, to bring Catholic homeschool families home

Home from protestant programs.

Home from meeting in protestant or secular spaces.

Home, able to bring their children before the tabernacle.

Too many of our Catholic homeschool families feel like orphans--when in fact, we have the greatest home of all in our local parish.

Help your parish build Catholic support systems.

Support systems that are loving incubators welcoming all, as Jesus did, to take up their cross and follow Him, redeemed by His love.

If what God has built in Catholic Schoolhouse can assist . . .

we stand as ready servants to grow communities wherever they are needed. Let us know how we can help. Our souls, the souls of our children, and the future of Catholic culture in our world depend on community.

All Catholic schools (home-based and community-based) must prepare future priests, fathers, mothers, lawyers, doctors, artists, construction workers, electricians, and plumbers to go forth--not just being Catholic, but with the ability and desire to take on the world.  To be active voices in a future evangelization God has planned.

In Christ,
Kathy

pps. If you made it to the end, give a little rocket emoji to let us know we reached you! Plus, it brightens my day :)
