Staff Report:
Our last two months results have been beetter than the prior months in the FY, however, they are short of "stellar" and far from what's needed to grow the program to the next level.

Although, the the retention of current CPBDs is holding steady at 96%, which is phenomenal.

Our projected number at the year-end is 15% lower than forcasted. However, if our final five months are equivilant to the last two months' results, we should end right on our number.

The amount of Suspended CPBDs at the end of the month is 110. We began the FY with 108.

Side note: When you look at the report table below, the 467 reported CPBDs are "active." In essence there are 577 total CPBDs, including those who are suspended. Except the latter quarter of the population are not paying fees or gaining CEs.

A curriculum for 12 "CE Watch Parties" has been created by staff and the first one was executed on the last Tuesday of January. The theory is, that CPBDs are more likely to meet their requirements timely if there are scheduled events, rather than leaving it to themselves to watch multiple hours when recertification time comes.

One item to keep watch on, the percentage of CPBDs who are members has been declining this past year. This could be due to at least two factors. They may feel like their not getting a benefit from membership, or they may be expriencing financial difficulties which is causing them to choose which of the two is a higher priority in their budgeting.
