this was quite the spring break! we made it to lehigh, ended an already incredible season, and had a lot of fun along the way! huge props to an incredible drive team of
Diego
Sydney
Anisa
Abraham
Alex
for improving and practicing and putting so much effort into each and every match! also everyone in the pit was fast and effective whenever anything broke which helped keep the robot operational for every single match. Also the rest of the team was cheering so loud in the stands and major thanks to
Sofia
and her family for being the reason our team will now be known for the giant heads!
Here are some fun stats about our performance @ Lehigh:
it was our team's best ever performance at a district champs (ranked 32 overall!)
our average match score of 116 nearly is our combined average qualifcation match score from WH (74) and MO combined (50)
going into the event we were predicted to lose every qualification match but 1. We came away with 6 wins, busting a prediction as low as a 17% win probability!! (see here for those stats https://www.statbotics.io/team/555)
Our final results are as follows with a breakdown of matches after that.
In qualification we finished with a record of 6-6. Our final ranking after qualifying was 32nd out of a tough field of 60 teams. This means we outperformed 28 of the best teams in the FMA. that's pretty amazing.
