Committee Updates
Katie Hanson shared that she test-drove the new shelf talker feature with a couple of titles in Madison Public Library's Advantage account. Project managers will follow up with OverDrive on a couple of feature-related questions, but, this is a great time to explore and try out this new feature. In addition, the project managers will work on a list of genres and authors that will support the WPLC's work to support diverse collections. This list will be shared with selectors who have expressed in creating shelf talkers for these works. See below for what these messages look like (blue circle) -- note, these are currently only visible to users who are logged in to their account in the Libby app.

IMPORTANT: Establishing an Advantage Weeding Plan for Your System
OverDrive has asked us to convey the importance of creating a weeding plan for your system's Advantage collection. Collection maintenance, including weeding, is key to cultivating a collection that is rich in perspectives and allows for easy browsing and discovery. Step-by-step instructions are shared here to help you get started. System contacts for Advantage accounts should reach out to Alix Morris at amorris@overdrive.com for assistance in establishing a weeding plan.
